Censor This!

Censor This! is a small, stupid, fast-paced game about censorship, broken rules, and the most useless moderation department ever created.

You work as a censorship officer in a strange government-style system where every message must be checked, cleaned, and ruined before anyone is allowed to read it. Your job sounds simple: follow the rule on screen and censor the correct words. But the rules are not always normal. Sometimes you must censor one specific word. Sometimes every word with a certain letter. Sometimes anything that looks “suspicious”. And sometimes the system just wants everything gone.

Read the message, find what must be hidden, and black it out before you make too many mistakes.

The problem is that censorship rules keep changing, and the system is not very smart. One moment you are censoring dangerous words, the next moment you are censoring cats, pizza, happiness, truth, or random letters for no good reason.

This is not a serious game. It is chaotic, simple, and intentionally dumb — made for Lame Jam 62 with the theme censorship.

How to Play

Each round shows you:

• A message
• A censorship rule
• Several clickable words

Your goal is to click only the words that match the current rule.

Correct words become censored like this:

Wrong clicks count as mistakes.

Censor all correct words to complete the round and move to the next message.

Story

You are the newest employee of the Censorship Censor This!.

Your task is to protect society from dangerous information.

Unfortunately, nobody explained what “dangerous” means.

The system gives you random instructions, the messages are weird, and your only tool is a black marker.

Do your job.
Censor the words.
Do not ask questions.

Especially do not ask why pizza is banned.
