After the Roar is an atmospheric horror game about a world where dinosaurs haven't completely disappeared.

They became sound.

Once upon a time, all ancient creatures roared at the same time. This Last Roar was so powerful that it shattered reality: the forests froze, the sky stopped moving, and some places still remember that sound. People have learned to survive only in silence, because any loud sound can bring back what was supposed to be a thing of the past.

You enter the Dead Valley - a place where silence is not just the absence of sound. It listens.

Your goal is to reach the Bell of Silence before the valley remembers the Beast.

There is no monster in the game at the start.

You gradually create it with your actions.

Every step, creak, blow, echo, or breath consumes your Silence Budget.

When you make noise, the world begins to remember an ancient dinosaur: first you hear the second footsteps, then you see the tracks, then the shadow, then the valley itself begins to breathe.

Sound is both your weapon and your danger.

Sometimes you have to make noise to find your way. But every sound has a price. If you spend the entire budget of silence, the Valley will completely remember the Beast
